About CVD2

The CVD2 team is a community-based, non-profit, ‘veterans helping veterans’ organization committed to the complex set of  factors affecting the homeless veteran population, job layoffs, substance abuse, an extreme shortage of affordable housing, and lack of access to health care.

A large number of displaced and at -risk  veterans live with lingering effects of combat-related post -traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These hardships, often compounded by a loss of family and  social support networks, make the issue of homelessness a difficult social  challenge.
